If you purchased your software then by all means you should expect some level of support. It probably will cost you just the same as if you had a problem with Microsoft software. The point that I was trying to make was that I have found very little that doesn't work under linux. It does not behave as a Microsoft product does nor is it meant to. There is a learning curve to it. There are also a lot of resources to aid you including professionals, volunteers and even google. It is ok to get frustrated and even ok to show your frustration, you should see me when I have to sort out a problem with a Windows machine :) But if you clearly state what the problem is, what you did and what the results were then more often than not you will receive a positive response from someone that has been down that road before you.
