At least I'm sure it doesn't take the kernel along with it when 
it crashes :^)

At work I use Windows 2000, I've seen it crash hard at least 
once a fortnight. It's been several years since I've seen Linux 
crash (that was a 1.12.?? kernel and I was playing Doom at the 
time :^)

At home I also use Win 3.11 and win98 (mostly to see how cgi 
scripts and web pages look like with different browsers) and 
they crash regularly, win3.11 several times a day and win98 a 
few times a week. Funny how memory leakage in applications 
affects the window's kernels so badly.
