Perhaps it would be beneficial to include a few pages on tools such as
apt-get and urpmi in the section on "dependency hell" (5.4). Since I
first configured urpmi properly and began to use it, I have not had a
real problem with dependency hell. This has immensely improved my user
experience and I think that it could do the same for others, whether
they use urpmi on Mandrake or apt-get on Debian or Red Hat.

http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/ (Easy Urpmi) is a big help in configuring
urpmi sources for someone who is just starting out with urpmi and
Mandrake. I am sure that users of apt-get on Debian and other distros
(e.g. Red Hat) could point to pages that help with setup on their
platform as well as collections of contrib packages.
