In my quest for USB to Ethernet adapters I ordered on of these:
http://store.shentech.com/hiusb2010usb.html

It is based on the Davicom DM9601

Datasheet/programming info
http://www.davicom.com.tw/big5/download/Data%20Sheet/DM9601-DS-P01-930914.pdf

This is an older device from 2002. It is USB 1.0, not USB 2.0 as
Shentech implies.

There's a driver for this device in the kernel but I can't get it to
work. Does anyone else have a DM9601 based adapter, can you verify if
the driver is still working? Mine appears to receive ok but it is not
transmitting.
