about release an URB

I am developing an USB device driver for Linux.I got a question about release an URB. I allocated an URB with usb_alloc_urb() method in probe function when I found some useful endpoint information. Then I would release the URB in the disconnect function using usb_free_urb() method. I didn't submit the URB to USB core. The driver can be compiled and inserted into system correctly. But when I tried to remove it from system, the system froze. Please help me, thanks!
