Greetings; Here a while back, say about 2.6.18 or so, someone started working on the PL2303 driver because it would seem to disconnect for one packet occasionally. The changes completely broke it at one point and I went out and bought a pair of FDTI adaptors which have worked rather nicely. But now I need to put one of those PL2303's back in service and I'd druther not find its still broken when I'm due to use it for 2 days straight tracking my path across the planet on a long trip using roadnav to record where I've been. Is it back among the living now? Or is this chipset terminally broken? -- Cheers, Gene "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
