$ smartctl -i /dev/sda

/dev/sdb2  409640 976510983 976101344 465.5G Apple HFS/HFS+

So, my drive does not seems to have 4k physical sector... Am I right?

Here's status log upto now:
1.hdparm --read-sector for existing sector is successful.
2.hdparm --security-set-pass fails with input/output error when putting hdd into Macintosh SATA bus.
3.hdparm --security-set-pass succeeds when putting hdd into USB bridge enclosure, but fails to hdparm --security-erase with "The running kernel lacks CONFIG_IDE_TASK_IOCTL support for this device."

So I'm wondering again the LBA 976783240 which reported by smartctl -l selftest /dev/sda is really exists or not...
