Re: Frequent file system errors on USB drive

I gave up. I bought a new external HDD and the problem didn't occur since.

Off topic: But I am very disappointed about the speed of the new drive. 
In benchmarks it shows 2-4 MB/s less than the old one. Is this normal 
for this drive or is there another problem?
Old drive: Samsung HD400LD SpinPoint T133 (IDE, 400 GB)
New drive: Toshiba Canvio Basics (SATA, 1TB)
Both drives run with Windows write cache and without cache on the drive 
and are connected to an USB 2.0 slot.
