Low Performance on 4.10 pre7

Hi folks,

first i wanna say this is really good work - please keep it up !

Now my problem is low memory throughput on wolk 4.10 pre7 whereas 4.9 runs
just fine.
As I measured the buffering speed via hdparm -t -T /dev/hda i got about
60 MB/s for RAM (buffering) instead of usually about 235 MB/s ...disc
throughput also decreased from 45 MB/s to 30 MB/s.
Booting to the login seemed to be very slow (which lead to the testing
via hdparm)

I am running a P4 1.5 GHz,  640 MB RAM, Intel 845 Chipset
