Hmm, well actually the patch set URL [1] i mentioned is for 2.4.26, which i applied successfully to vanilla 2.4.26, and works in production. There are 2.4.20-level patches but i didn't try them. The 2.4.26 patch set applies well enough to WOLK 4.16 with a few failed hunks, which is why i said that it would probably be simple for you to fix, as i'm not as experienced in adjusting patches :) As for Linux-ABI options i remember i selected most of them especially the COFF emulation for SCO binaries...
