Sorry for the delay guys, here is the closest I can come up with at the
current time for a no-hoop-jumping way of installing an acceptable
version of svn. I've actually been pecking away at this for a while.
It's quite a revelation of my inability to properly multitask... Must
have been my OS 7.1 upbringing.

Step 1: Grab http://pocketninja.com/other/subversion-0.26+deps.tar.bz2
Step 2: Untar it _directly_ into your overlay
Step 3: USE=3D"-db" emerge subversion
	# The -db is to step around a linking problem that Zach hit=20
	# earlier when we were testing this tar, if you're
	# adventurous, feel free to try it with db.
Step 4: There is no step 4, you're done


In actuality, the next step is to get this well documented and set up
somewhere on the site, which is on my list of things to do, right after
a billion and a half other similarly critical things.
