Hi all, With Graham's recent post of SVN tools, we now have a fairly easy to use method for installing subversion, and I can verify it works fine on both powerpc and x86. To this end, I have started to lay out the creation our trees in subversion, subject to being thrown out and starting afresh. We simply need to have something to use for playing with Porteus and developing Repoteus. I will be committing the bare layout for the core trees today, and I will begin to work with the various architecture leads to get the core packages for their trees committed in a manner that allows us to expand our developer base rapidly. I hope that we can put out a general call for package maintainers within the next week. At first, we will be supporting only a core set of packages, but Porteus will allow for us to overlay the Gentoo tree and use their packages. We can gradually merge these packages into our trees over time. Cheers, Zach
