Alcoholics Anonymous has, in its principles, the idea of "responsibility with equivalent authority." That is, those who are responsible for something have the necessary authority to make things happen within their sphere, although of course they are subject to oversight by their groups. It's an interesting idea that many companies would be wise to follow. Also, if the organization we create gets to the point of actually employing people, it would be unwise in the extreme to carry out personnel discussions in public. ag
