Some compiler warnings from MCL:

Sorry about the delayed response: I wasn't aware anyone was
still using this bug tracker.

I believe this is due to the empty default method for (setf
visiting-component) at or around line 449.  If so, I've just
added an appropriate declaration: please give it another
spin and see if that's quieter now.

As of version 1.30, only these warnings remain:

;   Unused lexical variable OPERATION, in ((SETF
VISITING-COMPONENT) (T T T)) inside an anonymous lambda form.
;   Unused lexical variable COMPONENT, in ((SETF
VISITING-COMPONENT) (T T T)) inside an anonymous lambda form.
