Is GnuPG available for OS 9 or are you porting for OS X?

Yes. I also had pathname-related problems when trying to port for
Windows. I had to resorted to an ugly workaround using cygpath.

If it's about OS X, is MCL's behaviour w.r.t. pathnames different from
OpenMCL? I thought Marco Baringer's patch made ASDF-INSTALL work with
Open MCL. (I have no Mac to test with except for my wife's old Pismo
which I don't have access to right now.)

I think this would be fine if we could add another platform that way.

Does ASDF itself work with MCL?

Edi.
