Yes. I also had pathname-related problems when trying to port for Windows. I had to resorted to an ugly workaround using cygpath. If it's about OS X, is MCL's behaviour w.r.t. pathnames different from OpenMCL? I thought Marco Baringer's patch made ASDF-INSTALL work with Open MCL.
