hello; [sorry if this is a duplicate, i'm not getting posts back, so i've tried resubscribing...] i am looking at how to get this to work in mcl. it is not obvious. the environment issue is resolved. as are implementations for popen, system-command, and http access. the problem is that there are at least a few places where the implementation presumes that (namestring (truename <some pathname>)) will produce a string which conforms to posix syntax. does it appear appropriate to replace this combination with a single, implementation specific, function which does the right thing. would that tactic be adequate for asdf in general? any other suggestions? ...
