ASDF, Require and CMUCL

On the Cliki page for ASDF, in the FAQ section, question #1, there is a cryptic comment: "addition, some lisp implementations (SBCL and CMUCL) provide a hook for ASDF into REQUIRE." I've scanned asdf.lisp and don't see anything that matches the comment. I've read the 'extensions to Require' section of the CMUCL manual and likewise found nothing. Is the cliki comment simply overzealous? Or is there a require hook someplace in cmucl 19a?
