Re: asdf and windows .lnk files

I vote for incorporating this patch; anything that makes ASDF easier  
and more transparent to use is -- IMO -- a good thing.  If the manner  
in which cygwin handles it's symbolic links is documented somewhere,  
then perhaps we could use a similar patch to handle them too. Is  
anyone on this list familiar with cygwin innards?
