hyperdoc and hyperdocumentation in ASDF

The ASDF source I have has a defgeneric for hyperdocumentation, without
any docstring, and with no methods that do anything.  The texinfo file
says only

"to be documented"

Since this feature is not functional, would it be possible to rip it out
of the code?
