Hi Robert, I have makeinfo version 4.8. It appears to run (i.e., I get an asdf.info file) without error. I'm not sure what version of texinfmt.el I have. (My Emacs skills are limited but) The only el file I can find in my distribution of aquamacs that contains "texinfo-format-buffer" is latexinfo.el. This is version: ;; Version: $Id: latexinfo.el,v 1.4 2007/03/15 19:21:49 davidswelt Exp $ When I try to execute the command in Emacs, I get to line 319 with an error that "verbatim is not supported". Let me know if there is more I can do to help sleuth this out On Apr 9, 2008, at 8:54 AM, Robert Goldman wrote: > I find that makeinfo version 4.9 is unable to successfully format > asdf.texinfo.
