continue- session's variable and cookies

continue the question

    I've forgotten to say that i 've a file in the server, which contains 
user's name, password, list of the pages that are known by the users, the 
last page that the user visited,..This is the information that i want to 
have how session's variable. When the user enter user's name and password, 
the server read the file, and I want that this information is in a variable, 
so i can work with this variables.
