Thank you ! That did the trick, and of course it's all explained in the 
documentation. My apologies, I thought the instructions were applicable 
only to a Mac build (please don't ask why I thought that).

Now on to solving problems with libaudiostream...

Thanks again, Espen, I'm now past the GTK stage of configuring Open 
Music. :)
