In the latest CVS versions of CMUCL, the :new-compiler feature has been removed. However, defsystem3 and metering use :new-compiler in many places. (This also affects ilisp in one spot.) That means this code won't work with CMUCL CVS anymore. What to do? o Make the CMUCL guys put :new-compiler back? o Remove all :new-compiler conditionalization from the code? CMUCL 18a had :new-compiler. I think 17f has it, but I can't find my binaries to be sure. I doubt any cares to run anything older than 18a, so perhaps :new-compiler conditionals should go away?
