Nevermind.  It seems that I have shell access to the clocc hg repo so
I've taken care of this.  An hg clone produces a clocc directory with
several subdirectories and files as we have come to know from cvs.

Please test this out to see if it looks like what you expect.  The only
issue I can see is that there are .cvsignore files, but I guess that's
to be expected.
