Performance improvements are nice, but I imagine there are more important things to add to CLSQL (prepared statements, improved support for non-ASCII charactersets) I had the time. > Are there any plans of supporting cursors in clsql (maybe with a > new keyword '... being a cursor for ...' or even '... being > a readonly cursor for ...')? I'd say the first step would be to add basic support for cursors in CLSQL. Then, the syntax for the loop macros could be extended to support them. You're right. There is no documentation on loop macros. The support in CLSQL came as a result of many hours of exploring undocumented symbols and functions in the various supported Lisp implementations. -- Kevin Rosenberg kevin-HJRc7zDS/[email protected]
