Since I am not quite sure what bugs and what new features you mean, let me add:
As for the usec stuff, nothing there is new; there is a function that returns
usec as the first value, so no callers may ignore it. As for new features, I
agree that it would be good to provide at least unit tests, which also show how
the features are used. I hope that's close to what you meant.
