An indispensible book to me so far in the area of
reasoning/Description Logics (all of which applies to DAML/OWL, and
related RDF technologies) has been "The Description Logic Handbook" --
it came out recently.

I'm not sure about RDF books, but I recently found the
"RDF Concepts and Abstract Data Model"
<http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-concepts/> to be very useful.  Other than
that, I'd recommend the Wilbur manual <http://wilbur-rdf.sf.net> for
the CL point of view.
