Newbie question, using the COM Interface

I am new to Lisp. I am also not too familiar with C/C++ programming. 
I would like to play with the CormanLispServer.dll as a COM object 
under VB; however, VB does not recognize the dll as a COM object. 

Are there examples using the dll with languages other than C/C++, 
either as a COM object or using calls into the dll.
