On my Win2000 and Win98 machines, the same actions result in a blank
buffer with no output being displayed. If I open a shell in Emacs and
try to run clconsole, I get the Corman copyright but no repl:

Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195]
(C) Copyright 1985-2000 Microsoft Corp.

c:\usr\home>c:/bin/corman-2.5/clconsole.exe
c:/bin/corman-2.5/clconsole.exe
;; Corman Lisp 2.5 Copyright (c) 2003 Corman Technologies. All

;; Unlicensed version: For evaluation and personal use only.
;; Some limitations apply.
