Yes, that is the result I get with Corman 1.5; however, when I do the
same sequence of events with Corman 2.0, 2.01 or 2.5, I don't get
the "?" prompt and (after the initial Corman copyright notice) I get
no further response in the *inferior-lisp* buffer.

I am really stumped - I tried emacs 21.2.1 as well (on the slight
chance that there was something in emacs 21.3.1 that was causing the
problem) but got the same results. I thought it might be some bad
interaction with Win2000 and Win98 because most of the people that
responded initially reported success when using WinXP; however,
further responses have shown that others have had success with other
Windows versions. So, I don't know where to look for the cause of the
problem or how to debug it.

Any ideas?
