They work fine from outside of emacs. This is not a fix, but I had the exit problem with 1.5, and this is what Roger suggested to exit. (win:exit-process 0) So I guess mapping it to :QUIT in an init script would make it work well enough. I know it is a dirty hack, but made things functional enough for me.:-D good luck, rohan P.S.
