There are bits and pieces floating around I think. I have code for displaying ActiveX objects in a window at [1]. Unfortunately it's not an improved GUI.lisp, but based on a different code base. Merging the functionality together might be worthwhile. I recall that someone was writing a game (Mikel? Are you out there?) in Corman Lisp and using the GUI framework - they may have extended it further.
