Rememeber to send to [email protected] when you want to post to the whole list. Garnet-users@cs now comes only to me, I think. Brad Myers -----Original Message----- From: Russell Almond [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, February 14, 2004 6:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Sourceforge Garnet Reorganization~ I've just reorganized the garnet code on sourceforge (project garnetlisp) to mirror the old CMU directory structure. A couple of people had complained that the flattened directory structure was making it difficult to participate. I hope we get a few more garnet users participating in the sourceforge project because of this. I also simplified the garnet loading and compilation sequence. There is now a new file call garnet-config which contains all of the variables which should be set in garnet-loader. It should be run before garnet-loader or garnet-prepare-compile. I also build the destination directory into the compilation process so the garnet-after-compile step is not necessary anymore. It appears to run fine on Allegro CL 6.1 on Sun Solaris. I'm still having difficulties with getting the Macintosh Common Lisp port to run under Mac OS X. You can view the project homepage at http://garnetlisp.sourceforge.net/
