Does anybody know if Sean's work on getting Garnet going with ASDF is
available anywhere?

Thanks to Robert Goldman, my interest is perked again - he has returned
to Garnet after a couple of years of trying different things -
including CLIM :-). That's quite a testimate to Garnet.

Recalling my earlier experiences with being quickly able to get Garnet
to do interesting things, and recalling the work done by Dan Stanger to
interface with gdi, I'm motivated to again examine Garnet. (Ah,
documentation...)

The first steps in my mind are to get off of our custom and quirky
loading system to asdf, and get the scribe source converted into
something that can be compiled by modern programs. The latter is just a
case of wading through a scribe->LaTeX conversion and making sure the
formatting makes some kind of sense, but the former is bound to be a
little more interesting :-). Anyway, if that work is available (as
well as any tweaks anybody would be interested in contributing) I'd
definitely be curious to see them.

Cheers,
CY
