Ilisp-5.12.0 + gcl progress and a couple of questions

Hi,

I've made progress in determining why ilisp is unhappy with gcl. It
appears that waitp should be nil in the call to ilisp-init. If it is t,
ilisp hangs. In my test I just ;;'d out the (when waitp... loop, so my
first question is

	what is the appropriate way to customize the call to ilisp-init
	for gcl?

Once gcl starts under ilisp, I get periodic errors. The ILISP Arglist
Output window displays:

Error: The function ILISP:ILISP-SAVE is undefined.
Error signalled by PROGN.
Backtrace: evalhook > progn > system:universal-error-handler >
SYSTEM::BREAK-LEVEL

Broken at SYSTEM::BREAK-LEVEL.

I believe this is complaining about gcl's relatively new (and perhaps
broken) defpackage macro. My second question is therefore

	is this telling me that defpackage is broken?

If it is, I'll take it up with the gcl people. They are working hard to
solidify basic ANSI support.

Thanks you.

Best Wishes,
Greg
