Hmm, I remember that Bill Clementson also tried to follow my
suggestions and didn't succeed so I might have been lucky due to a
certain combination of versions. FWIW, I was using Windows XP and GNU
Emacs 21.2 plus a current CVS ILISP (at that time).

As I said, I don't have the time to investigate this further at the
moment, sorry.
