It seems that XEmacs does not actually hang, it is blocked and = eventually returns this error: (1) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (quit) When I say XEmacs hangs, I mean that it is impossible to enter any text = into the buffers, however it is still possible to navigate the menu bar = and scroll the file being edited. Right clicking will not bring up a = context menu until the buffer is scrolled, for example. Open File will = not display the Windows File dialog until the buffer is scrolled. Once = this is done, the above error appears. I think ILISP is blocking, = waiting for something from clconsole.
