LISA 2.0's second beta will be released soon. There are a lot of enhancements and changes; negated patterns are now allowed to participate in truth maintenance (the LOGICAL CE), ASSERT and RETRACT function for instances as well as templates, some functions are deprecated, others have entirely different semantics. Just a heads up that Beta 2 will potentially break some code. There *might* be a third beta, but I'm not sure. 2.0 is very close to production quality. I want to add the EXISTS conditional element, but I don't know if it will appear in beta 2 or the next release. Send any comments soon. -- ------------------------------------------ David E.
