In our tests last night, the patch fixed several very strange spurious rule activations with no other ill effects, but I hadn't done super-extensive testing as it was getting pretty late. My only explanation as to why we've run into this and nobody else has is that we're using Lisa in a way which involves a lot of fact assertions and retractions on-the-fly, and never, ever (reset)s. Most of the example code I've seen seems to work like dominoes - set 'em up and knock 'em down with a (run), then (reset) and try something different. Since we rely heavily on retractions, we encountered this. In any case, thanks very much for your own work on Lisa. Michael and I initially thought CLIPS would be an excellent match for our grand scheme of things in our MMO game, but once we found Lisa the choice was obvious -- why code everything in pseudo half-Lisp when you can use the full power of Common Lisp? We're very enthusiastic about your work.
