So people can make their own adjustments. What we found across tests with hundreds of individuals, is that despite there being a “proper” scientific method for adjusting the parameter, people will just naturally migrate to whatever sounds best to them. Over time that setting may or may not change. But they don’t need complex calibration procedures in practice.
