Hi Yann, I tried to contact Fu Jie Huang (jhuangfu) about the Java API, but as yet have had no response. There might be something good on the horizon from Sun in any event. The next Java version (Mustang) is slated to have scripting language agnostic support that gives full access to Java objects. A beta version is out, but the scripting language support is not there yet. Hopefully this functionality, when available, will circumvent the need for extensive coding in Lush to support JVM use. Will have to wait a while and see if anything is forth coming. Something else that might be interesting to explore on the Java side is gcj and its Compiled Native Interface (CNI, see http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcj/About-CNI.html). This could enable mixing of Java sources with C/C++ in the Lush source code. Later. Raymond __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
