Error building on Alpha and HP PA-RISC linux systems

Hello lush folks,

As noted on http://bugs.debian.org/193054, lush fails to build on
linux for Alpha and HP PA-RISC systems. As shown on
http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=hppa&pkg=lush this failure
started somewhere between Dec 18, 2002  and Jan 31, 2003.
