Hi all,

I'm forwarding this message from lushprogramming group on Google.

Perhaps the work on FFmpeg is too preliminary at this stage or other.
Is that the reason the documentation for it was missing from helptool also?

Raymond

Hi all,

I'm completely new to Lush, but quickly falling in love. Every
burgeoning relationship has its problems, however, and here's mine: I'm
trying to get started with ffmpeg, and when I try (load "ffmpeg") I get

Parsing method avaudiosource in class avaudiosource ...

*** compiler : Illegal type(s) for test expression : <TYPE::(int)>
*** in:   (<> (==> avfile get-stream-codec-type n) ())
*** from: (when (<> (==> avfile get-stream-codec-type n) ()) (error
"Not an audi*** from: (lambda (this avfile n) (declare (-obj-
(avaudiosource)) this) (declar*** from: (defclass avaudiosource ...)

*** dhc-error : Translation aborted
Debug toplevel [y/N] ?

I got Lush from the SF.net CVS repos last weekend (April 1st/2nd), and
ffmpeg-devel is version 0.4.9 from freshrpms. I'm running a fresh
install of FC4.

Any tips?

Thanks much,
Ian Smith-Heisters
