I have seen this before and I know how to fix it.
The cygwin version of install does special things with the .exe suffixes.
The install-sh script provided with lush does not do it.
The trick it to use the cygwin install when available.
Soon in the CVS : changes to configure.ac and configure to do this.

Please keep telling me about lush problems uner cygwin.
