Snapshot/Release?

Dear maintainers.

I would find it nice if a new release or a snapshot of a recent version
would be available for download.  I am just writing an installation script
for my PDE tool box Femlisp where also Matlisp is needed.  Since V1.0b does
not work any more with Femlisp this would require obtaining a recent
version by CVS, which requires user interaction (pressing return).  I would
like to avoid that.
