I agree about the importance that fixes find their way into the  
shared repository. That's a concern no matter the source management  
system.

The updated Mercurial setup page provides a simple recipe (clone -  
commit - push) to get a fix into the shared repository:

I encourage developers to try it out. Don't worry about messing up -  
we can easily revert to a previous revision.
