CLOS based interfaces, ... already here. Here is an icon editor example in CCL (image file loading, OpenGL rendering, down/up/moved/dragged mouse handlers, color pickers, alpha channels, selection management, ...): same code running in Windows XP with CCL win + Cocotron: Sorry, you can run this with without touching XML but to define dynamic layouts you will have to write or generate xml. > > And the first communal task in hand would be to get onto the Cocoa > port of Fred etc. Hemlock works reasonably well and now also works - still incomplete - on Windows. This is something that MCL never did and unfortunately MCLIDE never will. > > But as all this is communal/collective effort, it's roll our sleeves > up time, and follow Terje's superb lead IMHO. Every little bit helps. As I said, this is a funded effort. If it is not cross platform we cannot pay for it nor spend time on it.
