Well, I have tried the Linux bash shell on Windows 10, it works really fine, but if you need a graphical interface it is less easy and less stable. If the aim is Command Line Interface work, for instance to compile Bigloo programs, it's perfect, but for my students a VirtualBox Ubuntu VM is still the simplest way of having them using Bigloo.
