If the aim is Command Line Interface work, for instance to compile Bigloo programs, it's perfect, but for my students a VirtualBox Ubuntu VM is still the simplest way of having them using Bigloo.
Ah yes but that's a strong argument in favor of Hop. Run Hop on the Linux
shell but run the native browser on Windows. Have you tested that?
