Well, sure, but, as I said, the packaging that has been merged into
the PLT distribution has always been case-insensitive.  It's the one
at the bottom of

I don't think that's necessary---PLT 300 will be case-sensitive by
default, and R6RS seems to be leaning towards case-sensitivity as
well.  (And yes, I do hate this trend. :-) )

Given the time at which SSAX/SXML was written, it's unfortunate that
it relied on case-sensitive symbols.  It would have caused much less
pain to simply use strings.
